How Do Vindictus Hacks Work?
Before we discuss how they work, let’s talk about how they are detected first. As you know, Vindictus’ Hack Shield (Nexon’s, technically) is loaded after you start Vindictus. Its purpose is to scan for any external code that alters Vindictus.exe. So, if you were to load Vindictus hacks without any type of concealment, Hack Shield would immediately recognize that external code affecting Vindictus.exe, and would ultimately force Vindictus.exe to shut down to prevent cheating.
So how do we bypass this? It’s simple: instead of coding an external application to hack Vindictus, hackers are now resorting to injection. An injector “injects” code into Vindictus.exe, usually bypassing Hack Shield’s scanner. Hack Shield can’t easily detect this code because it doesn’t see it as an external one. In fact, the code almost looks like it’s a part of Vindictus.exe, which is the purpose of injection. This code is usually injected in the form of a .dll, which essentially has all the capabilities that executables (.exe) do. However, Hack Shield has less success detecting .dll files, which is why it is so easy to cheat. Thus, Vindictus hacks are always being freshly developed and released after patches, so our members don’t have to worry about non-working hacks.
Why Use Vindictus Hacks? Aren’t They Risky?
We’d like to think that Vindictus hacks bring more fun to the user, without negatively affecting other players’ gameplay. Therefore, Vindictus hacks don’t ruin the game like the hacks for other games.
However, using one hit kill and god mode hacks will obviously ruin the game if you were to use it publicly, which would negatively affect other players’ gaming experience. It would also get you banned–this ban risk acts as a mediator to prevent blatant cheaters from ruining the game. Just remember: don’t use Vindictus hacks on a public boat!
